Background

The Acala 3rd Meme & dApp Contest attracted numerous participants eager to showcase their creativity and innovation within the Acala ecosystem. After a thorough evaluation, only 9 dApps and 3 meme coins met the selection criteria, demonstrating their potential to add value to the community. All ACA holders can use ACA tokens to vote for projects they like, and all voting users will share 10w ACA rewards!

Following the conclusion of the third voting cycle, the contest will enter a short hiatus. This pause will allow current participants to continue building without the pressure of tight timelines, while also allowing new projects to gain traction and grow their communities.

When the contest resumes, we will introduce updated voting metrics that place a stronger emphasis on TVL, DAU, and on-chain activity. In the meantime, the Acala team remains committed to supporting all builders and looks forward to an even more impactful next phase of the contest.
