All popular social networks and communities, namely twitter, reddit, youtube, discord, are officially blocked in Russia and CIS countries at the moment. In order to bring new users information about the project, on our own initiative we created a website in Russian. The site contains information in Russian about Acala products and tools with links to official resources, as well as the latest news about the project. The site is highly ranked in Russian search engines (Yandex). According to the query “Acala Network” in Russia the site is on the second place after the official site. Thus, new Russian-speaking users who do not have access to Acala's official channels and social networks will be able to find all the necessary information about the project on the website.

The ACAR memcoin will allow for attracting new loyal users to the main Acala project. The approximate audience of the Russian-speaking population is ~ 100 million people

For further promotion of the project, it is planned to:

We don't need to be too harsh on Acala Ecosystem. I can feel the team is hearing the voice from the community and they do make quite a lot of changes. I love all the projects here, famous or not, getting voted or not. Of course we need a flagship product anyway.

On Polkadot, the $DED memecoin briefly boosted transactions — but let’s remember it was backed by over $1M from the treasury and ended in total failure. A short-term spike doesn’t justify misusing public funds, especially when trust is at stake.

On Acala, projects like DAMN and NEMO — self-labeled as memes — have already received over 600,000 ACA, first through treasury proposals, then again in the previous Meme & dApp round.

Worse still, I tried looking up these memecoins on CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap — and they don’t even exist! In fact, other unrelated tokens with the same names are already out there. Was there any research done before choosing these names?

Let’s not forget: OpenSquare uses also quadratic voting, a method meant to reduce whale influence. So… is this true community support, or just self-voting to keep memecoins alive?

This could crash even harder than the infamous $DED on Polkadot.

We haven't seen the CA or K line chart of Damn token on Coin Market Cap just because CMC has not integrate with acala mainnet or its evm network. To be honest, we even cannot figure out the CA of Damn token, right? It's the issue about the structure of substrate network. Or anyone pls tell me what's the CA of ACA token? At least I do feel Damn is more interesting than so-called $DED. $DED is literally as dead as it is named since the first day but Damn is always keep building in both their community and Acala's. Let’s put opinions aside and stick to facts, because at this point, it feels like a mockery of the system.

NEMO and DAMN are both self-proclaimed memecoins — as openly declared during the first round. Do we really need two memecoins in the same ecosystem, funded by the same mechanism?
Both have already received significant funding — over 600,000 ACA , first through the treasury and again through the previous Meme & dApp round. This is not early experimentation anymore. This is sustained financial backing with little to show.
Neither DAMN nor NEMO are visible on CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko. This isn't a small detail. Visibility is a key metric for traction, adoption, and investor confidence. The excuses about technical integration only raise further red flags. If funding has been allocated, solve it. That’s what the funds are for. I’m an investor, not a blockchain engineer — I’m evaluating outcomes.
We are repeating the same mistake made by Polkadot’s treasury with $DED— a catastrophic and embarrassing failure, despite being backed by over $1M. If $1M wasn’t enough to make one memecoin succeed, why should we believe that funding two with fewer resources will somehow yield a better result?
DAMN is now attempting to bypass treasury guidelines— sometimes positioning itself as a meme project, and other times as a utility dApp. What exactly is this? This inconsistency should raise immediate governance concerns.

We need accountability. We need standards. And above all, we need to stop treating public funds like a playground for speculative, low-conviction ideas. The treasury is not a farm — and this strategy is eroding trust faster than any bear market ever could.
