Hello Astar Collective!
Following the stepping down of Simon from the Astar Community Council, we are pleased to announce that voting is now officially open to select the next Community Representative to fill this vacant seat.

III. How to Vote
Cast your vote here. The candidate who receives the most community support, measured by ASTR voting power, will be selected to join the Community Council.
IV. About the Role
The newly elected Community Representative will take on responsibilities including:
- Managing the Community Treasury
- Reviewing UCG grant proposals
- Evaluating dApps for dApp Staking
- Managing and supervising the Astar Ambassador Fellowship
- Participating in governance decisions that guide our ecosystem's development
Compensation is 48,000 ASTR per quarter.
Onboarding will begin immediately following the results announcement on April 28.
