This proposal initiates the community vote to elect the next two Community Representatives to the Astar Community Council. 🏛️

The Community Council is a governance body of six members, each playing a vital role in managing the Community Treasury, overseeing UCG grant proposals, evaluating and listing dApps for dApp Staking, managing and supervising the Astar Ambassador Fellowship, and participating in governance votes and onchain operations. Council members dedicate significant time each week to these responsibilities, ensuring that the interests of the entire ecosystem are represented and that decisions are made transparently and efficiently. 📝

These two positions are currently vacant and need to be filled to maintain balanced representation across our ecosystem. By participating in this vote, you help ensure that the Council remains accountable, transparent, and truly representative of our diverse community. The elected members will play a key role in managing treasury resources, supporting ecosystem growth, and upholding the values that make Astar unique. This is your opportunity to directly influence the direction of Astar's governance and bring in new energy and ideas from the community. ✨

🔖 NOTE: Please note that zkVan currently serves as an Astar Ambassador. As we already have two ambassadors on the six-member Community Council, maintaining balanced representation across different community roles should be considered when casting your vote.

Outcome:

The outcome of this vote will determine which two community members are elected as the next Community Representatives and will join the Astar Community Council. The two candidates receiving the most votes will be elected to the Council. The onboarding process will begin immediately following the results announcement on February 25, 2026.
