The program is moving to Tranche 2 after successful completion of Tranche 1.
Tranche 1 included an Educational Series and an ink! Bootcamp with over 350 participants.
Tranche 2 will focus on transitioning participants into the Polkadot Hackathon (Q1 2025).
The hackathon will allow developers to apply their skills to real-world projects.
$385k is requested, split into three tranches: July 2024 (completed), November 2024, and Q1 2025.
The goal is to support developer growth and innovation in the Polkadot ecosystem.

We support the proposal and look forward to the projects that will come out of it. We think it would be a good idea to have future hackathons focused on building dApps on Plaza.

I supported their last proposal (703), but asked them to not just produce content and track KPIs, my comments are @ https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referenda/703#hpjmm0FL2NFOIRdaHlkc. It's great that they produced educational content with the funds provided, but there are still no KPIs in their new proposals. This is only content production, and not education. Nay.

We support hackatons in general, if they make sense, cause they increase the involvement from the devs side, which is always a good thing. More devs = faster move forward.
