CodeanDOT was an educational bootcamp held over four consecutive Saturdays beggining on july and ending on august, designed to bring more women into the Polkadot ecosystem by strengthening their technical skills and encouraging female participation in technology.\

Bootcamp para H.E.R DAO.zip - 1

This initiative was led by Space4Build and invited communities of women and the H.E.R DAO subDAOs, focusing on creating an inclusive, educational, and collaborative space for women taking their first steps in blockchain.

Each session combined theory, practice, and real-world experiences, showing that every woman can find her place in Polkadot — whether through programming, project management, communications, or digital art.

Participation and Impact

  • 25 participants successfully completed the bootcamp.
  • Many explored coding and Polkadot tools for the first time.
  • Many began their preparation for future Polkadot hackathons at codeanDOT.
  • Organic content was generated on social media (X and LinkedIn) through participant testimonials, sharing their experiences and reinforcing Polkadot’s visibility across the region.

A special thanks to Simón León (@simonxpe), who guided all four sessions, providing technical mentorship, introducing participants to the fundamentals of Polkadot, and helping them take their first steps in coding.

We also thank the incredible guest speakers who inspired us with their knowledge and leadership:

  • Yedid Romero (H.E.R DAO LATAM, Mexico)
  • Emmi (Technolatinas, Bolivia)
  • Karen Luna (Entel, Peru)
  • Ishtar Spring (Digital Artist, Spain)
  • Marilyn Alarcón (PyLadies, Colombia)
  • Florentina (ValidAndina, France)

Thank you for showing that in Web3 and Polkadot, every woman can shine and contribute from her own path.

I also want to express my gratitude to the communities that were part of this initiative — their support, enthusiasm, and collaboration were essential to make CodeanDOT possible.
