We are not sure of the benefits these events have.

I'd like to see the expansion in Africa, but I'm not sure the output. It's better if more experts can evaluate this proposal.

I think this third revision of this initiative should be supported after two rejections. It'd also be good to know why it got rejected by the Events Bounty, but we should be able to award $16K and observe the results. Aye.

Looking at the proposal, it's obvious that there is a commendable effort at onboarding more developers and introducing new people to Polkadot with these events, considering that similar scoped events held at Europe and NA locations have pretty similar results, I think some good is being done here. I would also be curious as to why they have been rejected from the events bounty but unless it's something brow raising, Aye.

Would like to see feedback from the events bounty. As well as a trial of the meetup bounty to establish some traction.

I really feel that I don't have all the clear information about what surrounds this event. I find it very curious that Events Bounty has not given feedback on the rejection.

We want exposure, 16k is a small price to pay, changed the proposal twice to accommodate. Hope they can prove they are worthy.
