Brave is great, but we have spent tens of millions on marketing. I don't think the key problem of polkadot is about marketing. It's the usability. I'd hope we can focus on the key problem before more on marketing.

This seems so misaligned with what the ecosystem needs at the moment.

Generally supportive, however for this cost, I would like to see this be part of a larger strategy. We will already have the benefit of asset hub EVM compatibility without this proposal.

This can only be seen as a marketing spent in my opinion as Polkadot has excellent browser/mobile wallets already. Brave Wallet also supports ETH, EVM-chain coins and L2s, Solana, BTC etc. I wonder how many of these they've asked for money to include in their wallet? I think, fundementally, adding DOT support to any wallet should be it's own reward, if we're not there as an ecosystem yet, the winning play is not paying for wallets to incorporate DOT but getting to a place where they feel the must incorporate DOT. As a marketing spend, I have the feeling that Brave wallet's numbers may be a bit inflated, and don't see $3M worth of value to purchase eyes there. Their previous ad campaign proposal was for $575k, pretty much what it's worth imo.

I think the proposed amount of 3 million dollars is quite ambitious and could be very interesting to achieve, however, I think that the proposed amount of 3 million dollars is really high and also, with no guarantee that it will happen as mentioned. I would have liked to see a more segmented amount in milestones, which would allow to measure the reach.

Having access to 250,000 active wallet users is a plus, with this they also want to make Brave the Browser of choice for anything crypto.

This proposal raises serious concerns about the value we get for this 3M investment. Everything is far too vague. When startups request $50K, we send them back to the drawing board if their project plan isn’t detailed enough. Yet here, we’re looking at $3 million, and we have no idea how many FTEs will be working on it, what the hourly rates are, or how this directly benefits DOT token holders. For this amount, we expect a clearly structured project plan with well-defined deliverables.

Not necessary, especially for that pricetag. We don't agree that this will onboard millions of new users.
