This internal referendum proposes to make it mandatory for the members of Permanence DAO to delegate the DAO for at least the Decentralized Voices delegation tracks, which are all Spender tracks (32, 33, 34), Tipper tracks (30, 31), as well as the Treasurer track (11) and Wish-for-change track (2).
The current delegations from the members are as follows:
# | Member | Delegated (DOT) | Conviction | Total (DOT) |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | José Rabasso | 7,500 | 6x | 45,000 |
2 | Helikon | 7,500 | 6x | 45,000 |
3 | EzioRed | 3,000 | 3x | 9,000 |
4 | Yongfeng | 1,000 | 4x | 4,000 |
5 | PolkaBiz | 150 | 6x | 900 |
6 | Polkadotters | 100 | 4x | 400 |
7 | The Ionian Group | 30 | 4x | 120 |
8 | 16B1...oYFj | 10 | 5x | 50 |
TOTAL | 104,470 |

RATIONALE
The reasoning behind this proposal is straightforward: it is unreasonable to expect a delegator to delegate to the DAO when its core members are not doing so. A core member not delegating to the DAO displays a lack of conviction, especially given that the current non-delegating members are recipients of grants from the W3F, the treasury, or both.
PROPOSAL
1. Grace Period:
A grace period of one week from the date of the proposal's passing will be provided.
2. Compliance:
Members who fail to comply by the end of the grace period will be removed from the DAO.
3. Conviction Requirement:
- A lower limit of 50 DOT total with a minimum conviction of 3x is proposed, in alignment with the current minimum among delegating members.
4. Ongoing Compliance:
The grace period will also apply to any member who removes their delegation, and the member gets removed at the end of the grace period should they fail to restore their delegation within the grace period.
Thank you for your time. Let’s preserve the integrity of our DAO.
