Here is a summary of the Ideal Network treasury proposal:

Ideal Labs is asking for $38,760 for work they already did.
They worked extra hours to finish the Ideal Network randomness system.
They found two big problems during testing: the design didn’t work well, and there were security risks.
They fixed the problems by changing the design and making it safer.
They also added support for smart contracts and a payment system.
The team paid for the extra work themselves to finish on time.
All the work is done and can be checked on their GitHub page.
This is a one-time request for the extra hours they worked.

Randomness is important, but want to know how much use is this getting for the price tag.

I think what they are building is interesting for the ecosystem, although I believe that the cost/efficiency that the application could have within the ecosystem has not been properly considered.
