JAMTON is a special connection that helps two big systems, TON and Polkadot, talk to each other. TON has many users from Telegram, and Polkadot has lots of cool projects. JAMTON makes it easy for them to work together.

JAMTON is like a door that lets people from TON and Telegram join the Polkadot world. This helps Polkadot grow bigger and better because more people can use it.

JAMTON has some big plans:

It will make it easy for TON users to join Polkadot.
It will bring more money into Polkadot projects.
It will build a place where people can trade things without a middleman.
It will make it easy for projects to work with JAMTON using a special wallet.

While we see benefits of connecting Polkadot and Ton ecosystems, we are not sure about the direct benefits for Polkadot from the subsidizing JAMTON by Polkadot treasury. If we see the value, we are ready to switch our vote, but for now its a nay.

Since this is an ongoing project, I would like to know what the project have accomplished to this point. How many users have JAMTON already brought to Polkadot? It can be suggested that the team should be able to support their own development costs considering that they are already attracting liquidity provision, but I don't see harm in the treasury financing part of the development as a gesture of support.

Appreciate this team pushing on despite past funding rejections, although I’d like to see the team share some of the financial risk to demonstrate their continued confidence in the project. The proposal outlines the work clearly, but it falls short on justifying the direct impact and reasoning for Polkadot treasury funding. Also unclear how the team will be able to build out these solutions successfully with $0 budgeted for UI/UX design.
