This proposal asks for 21,504.94 DOT to help Polkadot's System Parachain collators.
Collators are important for keeping the network safe, decentralized, and fast.
The money will help keep collators working well as the network grows.

This proposal is about keeping things running and adding extra funds.

This is a solid aye from me. $300 plus self-stake compensation is only fair. Everyone I can see involved are established, trustworthy actors in the ecosystem. I can understand the arguments around the invulnerable slots, but I'm confident that a more fair model around this is going to be implemented in the future.

Can collator incentive be part of the protocol like validators? What if no collators? Can there be some kinds of markets in this area?

@OpenSquare/Yongfeng I think it's not possible at the moment to incentivize system parachain collators as on the relay chain, through the staking system. But I think it's going to happen over time.
