Kusama is an independent peer network of Polkadot, not just a test network.
It should have its own identity system, not depend on Polkadot’s.
Using Polkadot’s identity system risks Kusama’s freedom to experiment.
Kusama needs its own Proof of Personhood tools to stay sovereign.
Being independent helps both networks stay strong and creative.
A "Yes" vote means Kusama builds its own identity system.
A "No" vote means Kusama relies on Polkadot for identity.
Now is the time to decide to keep Kusama’s independence.

Is it necessary for Kusama to build a separate identity system, or can it just use Polkadot’s? EDIT: After discussion with the proposer, we decided to change our vote to Aye, as it might be beneficial for Kusama to have its own system of PoP pallets in the future.

At this point in the market and given the state of the network, I believe Kusama should use Polkadot's tools rather than directing its energies towards this type of Pallet.

I understand the perspective given that the proposer is developing on Kusama exclusively, which is not the case for most community members. I think it's clear that Kusama has a stronger brand than Polkadot, and supporting its full sovereignty is something not experienced so far in the ecosystem. I would like it to happen at least over a period of time during which the community could observe alternative approaches to outreach.
