I don't think the voting fee will work.

We are unsure if this would be beneficial to Kussama.

I find it worrisome that there are continuously a high number of users, both from Polkadot and Kusama, who have been raising the issue of inflation over and over again.
Although I do not agree with this proposal because I believe that this kind of things should come with much deeper studies of the consequences, I think this should be a strong wake-up call for us as an ecosystem to act quickly, without giving more speeches that do not end up materializing.

Voting fee is a bad idea. And I think the price situation is mainly due to a lack of use and interest as pandres95 noted. Good ideas for protocols and applications should be built on Kusama, and it should receive lots of attention. My intuition is that no measure is going to help where there is no attention and hype. When KSM appreciated the last time it did, there was hope with parachains, the marketing language was offering a promise, the community was eager. No economical measure can replace the sentiment.

lets take a holistic approach here, and propose something that can be implemented into polkadot, this so called "improvements" are a bandAid solution to a bigger problem.

Appreciate the ideas and chance to have a discussion. It's difficult with so many put together to find consensus on all of them.
