A new app called Pixelproof is being built on Polkadot.
It will be like Google Photos but more private and decentralized.
Users can store photos safely and control who sees them.
It will work on phones and computers.
People can pay for extra features using regular money.
The team asked for $225,000 to build the first version.
The goal is to show how Polkadot can make real apps for everyone.

As I mentioned on the call with Matjaz, and in the group private chat, this proposal is Apillon pivoting to app development. We should first see the RoI from the ~$2 million dollars invested into Apillon for the to build a "platform for developers". The intention was for them to enable developers to build applications of this sort, not make Apillon into a dev-shop. A good approach would be for Apillon to apply for a bounty, and incentivize building this app on their platform by their clients, individuals and companies.

The products looks promising if it has its own business mode, but I don't think polkadot treasury should be an investor, and I don't think photo storage is an infrastructure to polkadot.
