Kusama started with 10 million KSM tokens.
Now there are over 17 million, which is too many.
Too many new tokens are being sold, making KSM worth less.
This proposal wants to limit KSM to 21 million total.
It will reduce new tokens by 55% starting in 2025.
After that, it will reduce by 15% every two years.
This will help Kusama grow fairly and sustainably.

I wouldn't object to this categorically, since it was approved on Polkadot. But just as I noted on the Polkadot refs, I would expect a longer period of discussion, with enough justifications for such a bold move. Support from the top leadership would make the decision easier for the community. Also, October 31st 2025, roughly a month from now, seems like a very unrealistic target for this change. Nay for now.
