NFTMozaic is starting a new program to help early-stage projects create NFT apps on Polkadot. They will give money to about 20 projects to make simple, user-friendly apps that people can use. The projects need to focus on getting people to use their apps, like making wallets and doing things on the blockchain. The projects should be about things like games, entertainment, or using NFTs for businesses, not just art or collectibles. The NFTMozaic Council and a special team will choose the projects and make sure they follow the rules. The projects need to show how their app will be good for users and how it can grow if it becomes popular.

Generally supportive given results of the past program, however I didn't see information on who is in the council, how the council is chosen/rotated and who the curators are. It doesn't seem like this is a bounty (?), so it would be good to know the curators now.

I find the ask too high, and what they are giving each team also too high, I like the fact that is a bounty, but i do not think we have enough visionaries deploying NFTs as enabling tools, I dont think we need 20 more Artistic NFT flooding the market. I question the curators ability to attract what we need in the ecosystem at this time.

I feel that some information is missing for the public. What will be the criteria to be selected to evaluate these projects? Who will evaluate these projects? I don't really feel that there is very transparent information with all the proposal....

"The NFTMozaic Council will have representation from the Web3Foundation, Parity Technologies, parachains and some of the BD Groups in the ecosystem" IMO we need to decentralize further, not further centralize. Sure those groups have great people at them, but they are usually busy af if we are being honest. The lack of clarity around the curators makes me want to nay this for now. Please provide more clear details and plans around curator role to ensure this doesn't become another gatekeeping situation.

Hi Jose- Thanks for the feedback, On the contrary, we’re already engaged with BD teams who’ve identified promising leads in engagement, ticketing, music, and gaming—use cases where NFTs are being applied as infrastructure, not collectibles. These aren’t speculative art projects—they’re focused on access, loyalty, and digital rights. The discussions are strategic and tracked in our CRM. We’re happy to share details under NDA.

The goal of this program isn’t to flood the market with more artistic NFTs. It’s to create a repeatable pipeline of utility-driven applications that activate AssetHub . We already have a queue of teams interested in applying—none focused on art NFTs—and we can share the data if useful in confidence.

We held off on curator applications to avoid wasting anyone’s time before the proposal outcome. But for clarity, we’ll soon share role details and open registration—effective only if the proposal is approved.
