It makes sense to compensate ambassadors for unpaid time, but covering the software subscriptions (ChatGPT, password manager, etc.) of the head of the program, whose time in the program was compensated handsomely as far as I know, feels like a bit of a stretch. These are standard tools that any professional typically pays for as part of their job.
