Acuity wants to build a better internet using blockchain.
It will store content on-chain, making it permanent and hard to censor.
Anyone can build apps that use this content without asking for permission.
Content can be linked together, like comments on posts.
It will use a system called pallet_content on Polkadot and Kusama.
The project asks for 256 KSM to help build it.
The goal is to finish by October 2025.
This could help make social media and other websites more open.

I love the Idea, for sure useful in BOTH ecosystems! and the price is so low that I was going to wait for my Fellow Tech experts to chip in, but I can't wait for the this to be working!

It's essentially offering a content management pallet on-chain. It's not very clear to me whether what's the data stored on chain is the actual compressed content, or the IPFS hash, but either way, it is certainly possible to build a fully fledged content management system using the Polkadot SDK. I don’t doubt the developer’s capability to port their Solidity solution to the Polkadot SDK, but this implementation seems like a good candidate for a W3F grant, and also the contract could be deployed on the upcoming hub straight. Overall, I don't see enough reasons to support the proposal. This is not a direct contribution to Kusama, and as I mentioned, in my opinion, a more comprehensive content solution could be submitted as a W3F open grant application.

I think it could be a very useful tool that would open up possibilities for more things within Polkadot and the ecosystem in general. I understand that it could be a complicated development, but I think it would be positive to see.
