Here's a simple summary of the Kitdot project:

Kitdot is a toolkit for building apps on PolkaVM using Solidity
It helps developers work with Kusama Asset Hub

this to me is a clear Yes, the team has a clear understanding of the payments systems and IM looking forward for the x402 standard to be included in future releases, the budget at this point is small and they have delivered. Kusama is the perfect Platform for this, that could be rolled to Polkadot if it is proven to work.

I have my doubts about the ultimate scope that this type of proposal may have within the ecosystem.
I don't think it's a particularly costly proposal, and I believe it's well thought out, but I still don't feel confident about taking a position on it.
