Token Terminal is launching a new initiative to improve Polkadot's datasets and metrics.
The goal is to make data more standardized and useful for analysts, developers, and investors.
Basic metrics (like active addresses) will be upgraded to standardized metrics (like TVL and fees).
Data will be shared on Google Web3 Marketplace and Token Terminal.
This will help Polkadot grow and attract institutional investors.
The project has three milestones with a total grant of $1,005,000.
Token Terminal already works with Bloomberg and Parity Technologies.
Feedback is welcome for the proposal.

I'm supportive of this proposal because of the awareness that Token Terminal brings to its enterprise audience. However it seems 20 parachains may be too much. Would be great to see better articulation of the value brought to Polkadot for this particular spend, given many in the community feels it's high.

I see the value, and Token Terminal has been posting on Twitter in support of Polkadot. So I don't necessarily object to the price tag, but it should be done in milestones to provide better guarantees to all stakeholders. I can't see why 6-month milestones should not be manageable. In its current form, nay.
