I wonder what will be the return on investment to the Polkadot ecosystem, How many ventures will launch using Ink!

My first expression is that this is an over-allocation by far. I'm going to revisit my vote, abstaining for now, closer to nay.

I'd like to see more focus on developer adoption and adoption for Ink in different ecosystems. I think the team has done a great job, but it's difficult to see this as more than a small niche especially compared to the giant in the room, Solidity, and the up-and-comer Move in the larger smart contract space.

Not sure about the path to success of !ink.

There are uncertainties around ROI, ecosystem pull and timeline, so we are abstaining for now but may re-evaluate our vote later.

I think the amount being requested is high, and I'm not entirely sure what the scope of the project might be.

While I'm not too pessimistic about ink! and applaud the effort of the curators to increase its adoption in the ecosystem, I share some of the concerns under the proposal.

Specifically, I think it's a good idea to consolidate smart contract efforts in the ecosystem under a single bounty, which would mean either absorption of Bounty 19 or its dissolution. Given that there has only been 26 child bounties (including curator payments) of 19, I think the concerns are valid when saying that the adoption is limited. I think given the historic data, it might be a good idea to scale back on the bounty's budget and ask for top ups when funds are spent. This would also allow changing the perspective of the community with short term results if activity if high with the launch of Polkadot Hub.
