This is a common good service although we would like to see a public API available for this so that it can be used in a more functional way. The only thing this currently serves is web3 degen users.

Before funding this, we need more information: It's not clear what the total investment would be to get this to an initial production state, and what consumer adoption would need to be in order for this to break even. Also, if the treasury is funding the full cost of production, then how are the 70% of earnings being used before the treasury is repaid? Given past proposals have also been soft loans, can you provide an accounting of what money has been loaned by the treasury, and what amount has been paid back so far via fees?

We think this could be interesting, since privacy is important. However, we would like to know how many future proposals the team pans to do. That will help us understand the potential total cost involved. High costs are justified if the value/benefit is also justified.

It looks important but I think it's a time for the team to prove what they build is what polkadot need, or what they build is in right way or direction.

Incognitee is currently the only live privacy solution on Polkadot. While we agree that long-term sustainability and repayment mechanisms should be clarified further, this proposal helps enhance the utility of Asset Hub by supporting key tokens like DOT, ETH, or USDCe and fills a major gap in the Polkadot tech stack. This is a necessary experiment, and given that the team commits to returning 30% of the revenue, it’s reasonable to support this as a public good at this stage. Utilization of Asset Hub is one of the goals we follow.

Seems like a very sensible ask given where the project is and the work that's been done so far. It still hasn't been adopted by the community it seems so there is definitely quite a lot of work to be done on that part, marketing and raising awareness.

Privacy is an important area for Polkadot, and this proposal touches on that need. I think the concept is interesting and worth exploring. However, there’s still a lack of clarity around previous loans and repayment details, and I’d also like to better understand how many future proposals the team plans to submit. That would help clarify the potential total cost, which is easier to justify if the long-term value is clear. The request itself seems reasonable given the current stage of the project and the work done so far. While community adoption hasn’t happened yet and more effort is clearly needed on awareness and marketing, I’m optimistic the team can revise the proposal to address the missing context before the end of the voting period. That would help the community make a more informed and confident decision.

It's a well documented open-source project. The main developer is present in the community, and is looking very committed to the solution. Other members noted that this is the only privacy solution in Polkadot. I think this work should be supported. I agree with other members that the usage should be improved, but maybe it's also us who should be trying out these solutions and advertising them in the community. Aye.
