The Polkadot community is asking for more money to pay their moderators.
Moderators help keep the community safe and informed all day and night.
The last time they got more money was 10 months ago.
There are 11 moderators who work on 5 different media channels.
They want $191,040 (27,330.5 DOT) to pay the moderators for one year.
This money will go into a special account called bounty 24.

We think that it is extremely important for bounties to do their operations in stables and not DOT. We understand that child bounties cannot be done with stables yet, we hope that this situation is resolved soon. Besides this, we think the team is doing a good job.

It's an important role, and I find the ecosystem channels well-moderated. The proposal document is well-prepared, and I find the pay per moderator reasonable. I can see that the high number of moderators is a point of criticism, but it's good to have the team in place to be ready for increased content traffic.
